South Africa in Focus

Note to Readers: Race Has Nothing to Do With You is in South Africa for 2011-12.

Welcome to Race Has Nothing To Do WIth You

Much of my life is consumed by schools, so what I write is directly related to educators, students, advocates, parents, and caring people. But I am human, and I write about what moves me. I write so I can survive the hatred, ignorance, and blatant apathy towards low income people of color. Read on, and if you love or hate what I write, let me know. Peace.

olden days

References to the olden days,
to Times When Life Was Better
always always always
remind me of slavery and Apartheid and
Times When Black Latino Indigenous Peoples were killed with no regard

so when checking out books at the University of the Western Cape's library and
one two three different Coloured people told me that I would have appreciated how much better life was under Apartheid

As always, I asked them: Better for who?
Their responses, all three, revealed who they cared most about:
Everyone
(meaning White people and those who are temporarily tolerated by Whiteness)
